Wonderful Washington

We drove to Seattle through the incredibly beautiful Snoqualmie Pass. The pictures, of course, don't do it justice, especially when you take them through the car windshield. We'd been driving long enough we just wanted to get there -- but probably should have pulled over for this photo shoot!
Here's Mindy and Eric's home, not far from Puget Sound. In fact, they have a view of the water -- if you stand at the end of the driveway by the mailbox. I always pictured them in a Seattle highrise, but instead they bought this suburban, end of a cul-de-sac house, and have been here a little over two years. I remember when they were house-hunting, Mindy often spoke of how excited she was to have her own house, fix things up and decorate the way she wanted, landscape, etc....... Eric just looked forward to the tax break! The furry, four-legged critter guarding the place? That's Blue
We gave them the calla lily plant as a house-warming gift two years ago -- it lives on!
And here's the back yard -- what dog wouldn't love this?
Here's another shot of Snoqualmie Pass -- this one through an open window but in a moving car. I only post these to tease all of us misplaced Adamsons -- we know how beautiful it really is!

Mindy's yard looks beautiful - I want my own place (but just not here in Jersey....)

Yeah, the yard still looked good at that point. Sadly (or maybe not so sadly) it hasn't rained much for a few weeks and it's not quite as green. I just can't justify my lawn getting longer showers than I do. :)

Misplaced Adamsons? How's that for a title? :) I guess it's good to know I'm in good company!
