On Our Way Back Home

It may seem a bit anti-climactic, but these two photos are the last ones I took on the trip! We stopped at Heather and Ryan's long enough to get Scott to a doctor, who put him on an antibiotic for a sinus infection -- thankfully, strep and mono tests came back negative. He doesn't look all that sick, does he? But maybe that's why Ryan's getting the best of him at Nintendo.

Then went on to Tara and Joseph's, where we sat around and watched Tara to see if she would go into labor. And she did -- just about 36 hours after we left! So we have yet to meet new Baby A -- although we already know she is just as outstanding as the rest of our grandchildren!

Don't quite know how to sum up the whole experience of this cross-country summer. Great experiences, yes. Wonderful to see our family, which is what motivated us to do it in the first place. Would we do it again? You bet -- and we undoubtedly will. But maybe in a few years . . . .

Thank you and good night.

This would make a wonderful blurb book!! :) Maybe we can play with blurb when you come to visit next week -- I'm hoping (probably unrealistically) to have J-boy's baby book ready to print by then!! (I only have 4 or so more pages to do for it.... Just gotta GET IT DONE!) :)

Once again, I'm sad that both times you came through Ohio we didn't actually go out and do a whole lot. But after all the touring and driving you guys did, I guess giving you a break every once in a while was good. At least Scott had some recouping time, right? :) We already miss you!! Thanks for coming!

Okay ... now it's time for Lake Powell and the blessing pictures ... please oh please? :) ps**if you have any good blessing pictures, please pass them on. We definitely didn't get near half of what we wanted since L decided to scream like crazy ... oh well. :)

I miss seeing you and your kids (Scott and Kendra). I am sure you are busy as ever! Thank goodness for blogs! When we get back to Logan one of these days we'll have to stop by.

Dave, quit heckling your parents! :)

I just wanted to see what was going on in the life of the Adamsons. I miss you all. Washington just doesn't seem the same without a critical mass of your family present!
