Remember how long this cedar tree sat in a redwood planter on the patio? And our renters have trimmed it back a lot!
We missed the full bloom of the rhododendrons in all their glory......
I think Bruce is trying to look thoughtful and composed and dignified -- a little difficult if you can read what's written on his T-shirt!

no kidding about being home sick! I had a signing out in Evergeen Valley (by the way... gas is expensive at EVG too... somehow that is just wrong.) and I did a drive by of the house. Not the same as walking through the yard. I'm so glad the renters keep everything looking nice. They even mowed a trail through the empty lot behind us - just like dad used to do!
