New York, New York, a Wonderful Town!

Our trip to New York City involved taking the train from Trenton, NJ, to Penn Station, then taking the subway to Liberty Island. We arrived inside Penn Station, underground, and didn't see the light of day until we climbed up the stairs and outside at Liberty Island. On the return trip, for whatever reason (I'm easily disoriented and directionally challenged), we ended up above ground, walking maybe a block and a half on the streets of New York, watching Dave like a hawk, since he seemed to know where he was going -- and it was amazing! I just held my camera high over my head and snapped away -- much to Angela's amusement! I think I got some pretty cool shots!
We parted company with Dave, Angela, Scott, and Kendra here at Penn Station -- you can see Dave carefully going over the train schedule with me in the picture above, because Bruce and I were taking Bailey home with us and he wanted to make sure we got to where we were supposed to be! Then the four of them headed off to the Bon Jovi concert at Central Park, where they had an awesome time and where, unfortunately, cameras were not allowed! Dave, you took some pictures with your cell phone, are they in the slideshow on your blog?

Now I'm glad you took all those pictures of the city because I could use them for my blog. That was so fun!

Dave and Angela were still laughing about how touristy you were in NYC while we visited them a few weeks later. :) We laughed imagining it all.
