Mother's Day

Mother's Day was a little like my birthday, getting to celebrate it two days in a row, in two different hemispheres! I feel so blessed to be a mother, I love my children and grandchildren more than I could ever express, and I have come to love these young elders and sisters here like a mother!

This little succulent was given to us by a family we had dinner with on Mother's Day. It was cute and compact when they potted it, since we've had it, it's gone a little crazy and all over the place!

These elders and sisters came over Saturday to make cookies to give away on Mother's Day. Who knew what you could do with a little toaster oven??
