We had a wonderful day at the Wild Animal Park, associated with the San Diego Zoo. This facility's original purpose was to breed animals for the zoo -- it wasn't originally intended to be open to the public. The breeding program has been very successful since it opened in the early 1970's -- they've had over 20,000 animal births -- and it's also a huge success as a beautiful, entertaining, and educational place to visit.I apologize for this long string of pictures, but believe me, I'm being selective! I need to learn how to do collages......
