Well, we did it. Scott is now, as we speak, in the MTC preparing to go on a mission. Wow. We experienced a lot of feelings today:
Suprise: Mom and I didn't cry too much. I think we cried more at his setting apart than his actual leaving! (:
Kinda Funny: The President of the MTC(Pres. Smith) was our stake president down in Lacey. He actually set apart and released Dad as a bishop. And set apart David to go on his mission! I have no recollection of him(probably becuase I was about 3 or 4 years old), but Scott remembered him for asking for his autograph the night David got set apart. (:
Sadness. Of course: I am now officially an only child. At home, anyways. I won't have anyone to bother or tease whenever we're on road trips. I'll have the back of the van ALL to myself! *sniffle* One is the lonliest number that you'll ever do.
Fullness: We went to Chili's for lunch. Nuff said.
Awesomeness: We also went to Pebbles in my Pocket! And i got this really REALLY cute kit for a little cube type thing. I'll post pictures when it's totally finished. So excited!
Empty-Pocket-Ness: Then we went to IKEA. The whole "Empty-Pocket-Ness" is pretty self-explanitory.
Tiredness: From being in the car, crying, and walking around a HUGE store, and then being in the car some more, there's no doubt that you'd be exhausted.

Thanks for keeping the blog alive, Kendra. I love the picture -- and I miss you guys!!!! Do you get Scott's cell phone?? :) Can't wait to see what came from Ikea and the scrappy goodness from Pebbles.
